Are you Blog starved??? So am I !!!
Sorry gang about the lack of posts these days but whew-doggy...we've been a busy crew around here ever since the wedding last week-end...It was marvelous with a nervous " late to arrive bride" and a church full of waiting guests...but it all worked out just fine! Jessi and Arron are now Mr. and Mrs. and we had a wonderful time at the wedding...It was especially awesome that we got to see the whole Reese family and other old friends, like Woody and Diane who all attended and made sure that the atmosphere was one of party! See the pics of the Macarena!
The kids were just the best...danced till they nearly dropped in their tracks. We put them to bed at the Prestige and they were out cold in a few minutes!
The next day we enjoyed a swim at the hotel and then breakfast on the patio before coming home to a swim in the lake.
Ali and Stan and Sandra and Leo came out and we all enjoyed a big BBQ. They all stayed over night and Sandra and Leo have been with us since then...Of course, they have been golfing like crazy at Kokanee Springs and Balfour Golf Course...Emil and Sandy in a match game on Wednesday where he lost miserably. He won't talk about it too much...blames it on being way too tired! Maybe from lack of golfing!
Stan and Ali brought their grandkids out yesterday and all the kids enjoyed a full day at the beach while I picked mountains of beautiful raspberries...
Leo and Sandy treated us to a dinner of lobster which they cooked up for us...YUMMY...they decided the beast needed a day off! The lobsters were delicious...just from Save-On...boil in big pot of salted water for 20 minutes and enjoy with melted butter with garlic in it...Yum
Thanks Sandra and Leo!
We wound up the day at the campfire with Smores and sparklers for the 4 kids...
Twas a great summer day for all!
Speaking of golf, Emil has the kids down below giving them some golf lessons...I think I will join in! He already took them for a canoe ride!
Kaleigh has mastered driving the tractor...so look out dad! Next she will want your shiny red truck!
Have a beachy kind of week-end...It is supposed to reach 37* today! Whew...I'll get the beer on ice!

Leo does Lobster Tricks for the kids...yes, the lobster is holding a paper plate in one claw and clenching the pair of scissors in its other claw...

Oh, Oh, they don't see Stan sneaking up on them with the bucket of water...and here they were just posing with their new "duck feet"
